This is Checkers the Purina Ribbed Teaching Aid. She is used to teach vets how a dog is supposed to feel when they are healthy and fit. Yes she actually does have a rib cage and she isn't a toy for kids.
This dog is made by Douglas cuddle toys and the model used for this is Miller the husky. She is in NEW condition and I got her for $69 she is a great plush!!
I used to have a Miller that I got years ago that was very worn and used. I'm glad to finally get this plush back in pristine condition! I think its a bonus that this is used by vets, wish I knew how many of these were made for Purina!

Wow that's an awesome version of Miller! Congrats! She's probably one of the happiest husky plushies I've ever seen xD.
